SwiftVend Privacy Policy

SwiftVend ("we", "our", or "the app") is a mobile money assistant that helps MoMo agents automate USSD transactions, confirm them via SMS, and monitor their shop activity remotely. This Privacy Policy explains what information SwiftVend accesses, how it is used, and how it is protected.
1. Information We Access
- Phone State (READ_PHONE_STATE, READ_PHONE_NUMBERS): Used to detect the SIM card and phone number of the agent's device so USSD sessions are dialed from the correct line. This information is not uploaded to any server.
- SMS (RECEIVE_SMS, READ_SMS): Used to read incoming Mobile Money confirmation messages from networks such as MTN, Telecel, and AirtelTigo. SwiftVend matches each SMS to the USSD transaction performed in the app to verify whether the transaction succeeded or failed. SMS from other senders is ignored.
- Phone Calls (CALL_PHONE): Used to dial USSD codes (e.g., *170#) automatically on behalf of the agent.
- Location (COARSE / FINE): Used only to tag shop activity with an approximate location so owners can verify where transactions are taking place. Location is never shared with third parties.
- Network State: Used to sync transaction records to the owner's dashboard when the device is online.
2. How We Use the Information
- Automate Mobile Money USSD transactions.
- Confirm transactions by matching MoMo SMS responses.
- Log transactions locally and sync them to the shop owner's dashboard.
- Allow the shop owner to monitor activity in real time.
3. Data Storage
Transaction data is stored on the agent's device and synced securely to the shop owner's SwiftVend account. SMS content is processed locally on the device and only the extracted transaction result (success/fail, amount, reference) is stored. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or third parties.
4. Data Sharing
- With the shop owner who has authorized the agent's device (for transaction monitoring).
- When required by law or a valid legal request.
5. Data Security
All data synced from the app is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to the shop dashboard is protected by authentication.
6. User Control & Data Deletion
You can revoke any permission at any time in your device's Settings > Apps > SwiftVend > Permissions. Revoking SMS or Phone permissions will disable transaction automation and confirmation features.
To request deletion of your account and all associated data, visit our Account Deletion page or email unimarketgh@gmail.com. Requests are processed within 7 business days.
7. Children's Privacy
SwiftVend is a financial tool intended for adult mobile money agents (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
